Sebass is an Austrian producer working in drum and bass, primarily within the liquid-funk strand. He first released a track on the Family Piknik Music label in spring 2019 and was invited to play live on Family Piknik’s main stage.

That 2019 Family Piknik connection doubled as an entry point into performance and release work. Four cuts taken from the Family Piknik live performance were later reworked into his first EP, Constellation. Those early steps — a label release and a main-stage live slot — are the earliest verifiable milestones in his public timeline.

Musically, Sebass’s output sits in liquid-funk. His recorded work shows a focus on melodic movement, warm low end and arranged atmospherics rather than maximalist neuro sound-design. A concrete part of his process is taking live material and translating it into studio tracks, as with the four live cuts that became Constellation. That workflow implies close editing of breaks, layering of pads and chords, and attention to bassline shape and consistency across a track.

As a producer, Sebass’s contributions are documentable in his EPs. MusicBrainz lists m.e. (2025), live a little (2025) and 700 (2026) under the Sebass name, in addition to the earlier Constellation material tied to the Family Piknik set. His role at Family Piknik in 2019—label release plus main-stage performance—remains a concrete example of how he has engaged with a label and an event platform.

Public information on specific influences, studio gear or additional collaborations is limited. What is verifiable: he is an Austrian producer aligned with liquid-funk, he released a first track on Family Piknik Music in spring 2019, he performed live on Family Piknik’s main stage, four cuts from that live set were reworked into his first EP Constellation, and MusicBrainz lists the EPs "m.e." (2025), "live a little" (2025) and "700" (2026).
