360 DNB Showcase
TBA - Central L.A.
22:00 – 04:00
Join us for the U.S. premiere screening of BIG, BAD & HEAVY, a 20-minute mini documentary on the life, legacy, and story of Jumpin’ Jack Frost.
Based around Frost’s autobiography of the same name, BIG, BAD & HEAVY traces his journey from Brixton to pirate radio, the UK rave explosion, and the birth of jungle and drum & bass. As a founding force behind V Recordings alongside Bryan Gee, Frost helped shape a movement that would go on to influence dance music worldwide.
The film also looks beyond the music, touching on the personal battles, turning points, and lived experience behind one of jungle and drum & bass culture’s most important voices.
The screening will be followed by a live Q&A with Jumpin Jack Frost, hosted by Chemistry MC.
Access is free to enter. Doors open at 7 PM. Please arrive on time.
The premiere and Q&A will be followed by an event.
