Contrabass Open Decks (DnB/Jungle)

A community-minded first edition puts the decks within reach of selectors and curious heads alike.

Contrabass Events opens the decks for its first jungle-focused evening at The Liquid Room in Edinburgh on 17 October 2026, starting at 6:30pm. This is a chance to catch selectors in the making and hear where the local scene might head next.

The idea is community first: DJs get a place to play, meet other heads and make connections, while non-DJs are welcome to come through for an early evening of dancing. No need to be behind the decks to enjoy a good jungle session.

It’s an 18+ ticketed event, with the first edition laying the groundwork for a regular gathering. Come for the rollers, stay curious, and give a new selector the room to surprise you.
