Get on the Mindride — a journey that started back in 1992, featuring an iconic flyer design by Fresh Jive and a lineup that included Derrick Carter and Mark Farina at the 326 South Jefferson warehouse, just blocks from and across the Chicago River from the city’s financial district known as The Loop. Just like last year’s Mindride, which took place in a West Side warehouse, this year’s edition is a collaborative effort between Ripe Productions, Mr. Bobby’s World, and Jungle Ting. It stays true to the underground ethos that defined the original Mindrides — showcasing top-tier producer/DJs alongside the full Jungle Ting Sound System, lasers and lights, and Mr. Bobby’s World décor and visual accents that make Blacklight such a wicked monthly experience.
