Open Booth Foundation puts its Open Decks format on wax for a Brisbane session built around records, cuts and blends. This is a vinyl edition with the booth open to selectors and the music moving through hands-on choices, not a genre brief.
Catch it at Echo & Bounce from 5pm on Thursday, 19 November. The 18+ event is ticketed, with Open Booth Foundation presenting. Come for the changing selections and stay close to the transitions: this one puts the craft of playing records front and centre. No need for a big concept when the needles are down and the next tune is in the hands of the person at the decks.
