UPD8E
Promoter / crew
We’re back at Soulkitchen Vienna for another UPD8E Open Air Summer Special
Joining us from Manchester:
▸ CHANNELL (Footnotes | TNQ | UK)
Constantly delivering top-notch music on labels such as Footnotes and The North Quarter, CHANNELL returns to UPD8E with his unmistakably soulful and uplifting sound. Some of you might remember his previous appearance at one of our nights – we’re very happy to welcome him back!
▸ AZIZ
A true pioneer of Vienna’s drum & bass scene. With legendary projects such as Trife Life and AllSouledOut, AZIZ paved the way for many of us and played a major role in shaping the city’s soulful D&B movement.
▸ CONCEPT & SHNEK
Talking about the good old days: CONCEPT & SHNEK are teaming up once again. Known for their liquid and rolling sound throughout the 2000s, releases on CIA Records and countless memorable appearances at the Roxy Club, they’ll be picking things up right where they left off.
▸ ROBERT TRÖMER (Forst Rekords)
Opening the evening with a special selection of reggae and dub, providing the perfect soundtrack as we ease into the sunset.
▸ TUFF GEE & THE UPD8E ALLSTARS will round things off as usual, to keep you moving with some proper dnb & jungle music
