What is BASS MUSIC?
Drum and Bass music is the most advanced and technologically sophisticated direction, evolving and developing more rapidly than any other genre, absorbing every facet of electronic music, giving rise to new substyles while remaining underground—music for the chosen few. Most artists on the scene are experimenters and innovators who do not limit themselves to the 170–180 BPM range and move freely between kindred styles—dubstep, trap, garage, bassline and even crossbreed and hardcore, mixing and modifying them. But there is one thing these people and these directions have in common: an emphasis on bass, groove and the rhythmic component of the tracks! Today, all these genres have one umbrella term—BASS MUSIC.
