Axon Records began in Ukraine in 2017, founded by Nikolay Bogomolov, who performs as NickBee. The label focuses on drum and bass, especially neurofunk, along with drumstep and bass music, with a leaning toward melodic, experimental sounds. Its first release was NickBee’s single Alter Ego in 2017, and he followed it with the double release Survival Instinct / Mental Transition in 2018 and the Obstacles EP.
Skrimor, LaMeduza, Cod3x and The Clamps have also released on Axon. Its output includes Hystatus’s Patterns In The Sky EP and Psynchro’s two-track Musicolors / Angara, issued on 10 May 2021, and NickBee returned with the single Quantum in 2026. The label also puts on events and showcases in several countries.
