CYN Music is a drum and bass record label established by industry veterans. In 2010, Cyantific began the operation under his own name, following his departure from Hospital Records, where he had spent years releasing music; the label later adopted the name CYN Music. Its debut release brought together Cyantific’s “88 mph” and “Brighter Day,” made with Logistics. Alongside drum and bass, its output covered dubstep and house, and included Dancefloor releases. Cyantific’s “Brighter Day” appeared as a single in 2010, while “Ice Cream (Vanilla Mix)” followed in 2014.
The label issued Dimension’s “Digital World” and “Detroit” in 2012, then Karma’s “Her Touch” and “Salute” in 2013; Dub Motion also released music through CYN Music. Other Cyantific tracks on the label were “Mirador” and “Defect.” In South West London, CYN Music operated from an underground laboratory, with its CYN Laboratory built in 2012 with help from Wilkinson and Snapclicker. Cyantific said the label had been retired after he departed as both business partner and artist, while Wilkinson and Snapclicker were too busy to keep it operating.
