Detached Audio is an experimental drum and bass label established by Manu in late 2014. The London label first issued music by Manu and his associates, then focused on drum and bass by late 2016 and early 2017. Its releases range from dark, brooding sounds to liquid. Manu connected with K2T in summer 2017, and K2T helped shape the label’s direction as it grew. The label’s output includes the Segments compilation series and albums by Shodan, Mindloader and K2T.
Releases include work by Option, Hex, Madusea and Linear. In 2017, Leniz released the single A Journey / She Won't Wait on the label; Linear’s Calling Colossus Remix followed in 2021. Detached Audio reached its 50th release by August 2022, then paused activity in 2023 and returned in 2025 with the 14-track LP Reattached. The album features MissGray, K2T, Mindloader and Metcalf and spans several drum and bass styles.
