Dubquake Records was established by O.B.F Sound System in 2013 and is based in Lyon, France. Its focus is dub and reggae, and it was created to issue on vinyl tracks connected with O.B.F.’s Dubquake parties, which began in Geneva in 2006. The label’s debut 12-inch, released in December 2013, paired Weeding Dub’s “Judgment,” featuring Inja, with O.B.F.’s “Echo Dub.”
O.B.F.’s albums Wild (2014), Signz (2020) and Lava (2022) are among its releases, alongside reissues of Iration Steppas albums Original Dub D.A.T. and Dubz From De Higher Regionz. Monty has released music on the label, including “Trees (Monty Remix),” a 2023 single by Charlie P, Monty and O.B.F. Dubquake Records has issued more than fifty recordings and also produces and distributes documentary films.
