Hot Cakes is a UK label that has been putting out breakbeat-driven music since 2005, moving between drum and bass, breaks, UK garage and dubstep. Deekline and Ed Solo's DJ Food For The Masses EP came out in 2007, and DJ Defkline and Red Polo followed in 2008 with the Burnt Banana EP and the Hot Cakes Ready Mix, Volume 1. The Ragga Twins, Dread MC, B Live and Scrufizzer have all released on it.
Deekline set up Jungle Cakes as a sub-label in 2009, and Hot Cakes Bass sits alongside it. More recent singles include AC13 and Jam Thieves' "Dirty Game" in 2020 and Leo Wood and UFO Project's "Bounce" in 2026, and the label puts on live events and showcases with artists from around the world.
