Majesty UK is a drum & bass label launched by Battery and Philth. Battery comprises Craig James, Doug McAvoy and Phil Robinson; the founders set up the imprint to put out their joint work on their own timetable and determine its musical and visual direction. Its name comes from “Majesty”, a track on an earlier Battery & Philth EP for Dispatch Recordings. Rooted in jungle, the label’s sound moves between liquid, minimal, heavy and experimental drum & bass.
In 2025, Battery and Philth issued the single Only You on Majesty UK. Their 2026 Mesmerize EP brings together “Need You”, “Mesmerize”, “On & On” and “Femme Fatale”. Sian Pointon creates the artwork through hand-cut collage. Beyond releases, Majesty is linked to a radio show, club nights and a Kool FM residency.
