Major League DnB is based in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and focuses on drum and bass, including neurofunk. Its roots lie in Dutch club events: Major League started at Nighttown in Rotterdam in 2002 before later moving its events to the Melkweg in Amsterdam. The record label began in 2017, and its releases draw on the music played at events whose line-ups span different drum and bass styles. In 2018 Major League DnB co-hosted an event with Critical Music at the Melkweg during Amsterdam Dance Event.
In 2017 the label marked its first year with a compilation mixed by Zombie Cats, whose “Gods & Monsters” returned as Gods & Monsters Remixed in 2020. Later releases included Bad District’s Enforcer EP, issued in November 2018, and Brazed’s Signal / Future, released in December 2020. Screamarts, InsideInfo and Redpill have also released music on the label.
