MO7 Recordings is an independent drum and bass label from Changsha in China’s Hunan province, founded in 2020 by Murcor, a Canadian artist based in China, to support drum and bass culture there. Its first release, Vexed, was made with Yatuza, and its sound is built on dark sub-bass, pared-back drums and tracks made from relatively few elements.
RMS released the singles Alone in 2022 and Botched in 2024, and Nichenka Zoryana, Creatures and Subrix have also released on the label. The Revelations compilation series has reached at least two volumes, with Dunk on its 2024 edition, and Madrush MC and Murcor teamed up on the Blind Spots EP.
