Obsolete Medium is a London drum and bass label founded by producer Thomas Green, who records as Rockwell. It focuses on darker, more experimental drum and bass, including deep and halftime sounds, and releases albums and EPs. Rockwell left Shogun Audio in 2018 to pursue his own projects through the label, and he runs its A&R and social media himself.
Rockwell’s CONTENT EP came out on Obsolete Medium in 2018, and he has also recorded Estranged with LaMeduza. Serum and Phace have both released on the label, and in 2024 it put out Comfy (En:vy Remix). Alongside its releases, Obsolete Medium holds regular events and showcases for the drum and bass community.
