play:musik is a drum and bass record label established by DJ Flight and Paula in 2005. It is based in London, United Kingdom, and its releases span drum and bass and jungle. The label began its release history in October 2005 with Martyn’s “Nxt 2 U” and “Deepwood.” Over its initial five years, its releases featured recordings from Martyn, Heist, Survival and Visionary.
L.I.S. supplied play:musik’s final release before a 14-year pause, a double single issued in 2010. The label returned to releasing music in 2024 through Nectax’s Body Talk EP. Music by Nectax and Sl8r has appeared on play:musik, including Sl8r’s “Callisto,” released in 2026.
