Kill The Noise is the stage name of Jake Stanczak, who began DJing drum and bass at 15, the same style he first produced. Before adopting the name, he released music as Ewun, a drum-and-bass project. His later work spans dubstep, electro house and drumstep. In 2009, Stanczak co-founded Slow Roast Records with DJ Craze. He has described a close relationship with OWSLA, whose studio shares a building with his own.

OWSLA released the EPs Kill Kill Kill in 2011 and Black Magic in 2012. Stanczak co-produced music for Korn’s album The Path of Totality, including “Narcissistic Cannibal,” a collaboration with Korn and Skrillex. He also worked with Skrillex on “Recess.” In 2014, he and Feed Me released “Far Away.” That year, Stanczak spoke about his musical background and future plans in an interview.

OWSLA issued Occult Classic in 2015. In an interview the following year, Stanczak said the album reflected his personal evolution and discussed its range from introspective sounds to heavier music. His other collaborations include work with Dillon Francis and AWOLNATION, as well as “Horizon” with Seven Lions and Tritonal, released in 2018. He also worked with Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign and composer Brian Tyler on “Shell Shocked” for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film soundtrack.

Stanczak’s albums EMBRACƎ and HOLLOW WORLD came out through Ophelia in 2022 and 2023. His music has also appeared on Monstercat and Deadbeats. In 2026, he and Bro Safari discussed their collaborative project in an interview and released “Kill Safari” on Deadbeats. Other 2026 singles include “Another Level,” a collaboration with Flux Pavilion on Sotto Voce; “Running Away,” with Hairitage; “STINK MODE / BELONG TO ME,” with LSDREAM on Trippy Bee Records; and “I Need,” with Seven Lions on Monstercat.

From Exeter and based in Bristol, Josh Jackson performs as Grafix, a drum-and-bass DJ and producer. His full legal name is Joshua Melrose Jackson. Before moving into solo work, Jackson spent more than a decade as one half of Fred V & Grafix, alongside Fred V. The duo paired him with Frederick Vahrman, known as Fred V, and split in 2018. The pair released three collaborative albums on Hospital Records, beginning with Recognise in 2014. Their single “Forest Fires” reached number 77 on the UK Singles Chart, and they also remixed Sub Focus “Endorphins”. After the duo split, both artists pursued solo careers.

Jackson’s solo sound pairs energetic dancefloor drum and bass with intricate melodies, drawing on techno, indie dance and rock. Jackson has described the music as euphoric and dancefloor-focused, while retaining melodic and atmospheric elements associated with the duo. The solo album Half Life arrived in 2022. Its lead single, “Somewhere”, featuring Reiki Ruawai, was included on the EA SPORTS F1 22 game soundtrack. In 2019, Grafix released the single “Radiance” on Hospital Records. His releases are also associated with Viper Recordings, Spearhead Records and Elevate Audio.

In 2024, Grafix worked with Culture Shock on the single “Make It Pump”. Grafix has also released a remix of NOTION’s “Hooked”. The 2025 album Don’t Slow Down followed, alongside the single “Giants” with Culture Shock and sadHAPPY on Culture Shock Music, and “Drift Away” with WHAT EVA.

In 2026, Grafix released the single “Reflection of U” on Grafix Music. Jackson played at Warehouse on Watts on 9 October 2026.

Jonathan Barry Gooch (born 22 August 1984) is a British producer and DJ from London who records under the aliases Spor and Feed Me. As Spor he works primarily in drum and bass, drumstep and jungle; his output also touches dubstep and chillstep. He has released on Renegade Hardware, Barcode and Subtitles, co‑founded the Lifted Music imprint with Chris Renegade, and released the EP Conquerors and Commoners plus the album Caligo. He performs internationally under both Spor and Feed Me.

Gooch’s entry into the scene is traceable through his early Spor releases on established DnB labels. Those label appearances brought him into contact with the UK bass music circuit and led directly to the Lifted Music partnership with Chris Renegade. The Spor alias became his primary outlet for drum and bass and drumstep work, while Feed Me is a second performing identity he also takes around the world.

As a producer, Spor’s sound is precise and production-focused. His drum programming emphasises tight, edited breaks and layered snares rather than loose, ambient percussion. He frequently uses chopped and re‑sliced breaks for syncopation, close quantisation on transient hits, and stacked transient shaping to make drums cut through dense arrangements. Bass design follows a low‑end‑first approach: sub‑weight sine foundations combined with distorted midrange bass for presence on club systems. Atmospheric elements are placed as contrapuntal pads and cinematic textures that sit above the drums and bass, often filtered or automated to open and close across a tune.

Specific subgenre traits appear across his output. Spor’s drum and bass tracks display hallmarks of tech/neuro‑leaning DnB: tight break edits, complex percussion detail, and aggressive, harmonically rich basslines. His drumstep and dubstep work leans into half‑time rhythmic placements and heavier low‑frequency emphasis. Chillstep elements show up in his use of spacious pads, reverbed leads and more restrained tempo choices, while jungle‑adjacent pieces use amen‑style break manipulation and rapid roll edits. Signature production moves include meticulous break chopping, layered snare work, prominent sub bass with saturated mids, and the use of evolving pads to create tension across arrangements.

Career highlights stated under the Spor name include releases on Renegade Hardware, Barcode and Subtitles, the Conquerors and Commoners EP and the album Caligo. Those releases document his role as a producer who writes full EPs and at least one album-length statement. Off the records, he expanded his footprint by co‑founding Lifted Music with Chris Renegade — an operational role that placed him on the label side of releases and A&R alongside his producing and DJing. He also maintains an international live presence, performing under both Spor and Feed Me.

In terms of collaborators and connections, the factual record links him directly to Chris Renegade through the Lifted Music imprint. Beyond that partnership, public biographical summaries focus on his dual identities (Spor and Feed Me) and on the labels and releases already listed rather than naming a wider roster of repeated collaborators.

Wherever he plays, Spor’s contributions are specific: tightly produced DnB and drumstep tracks sent to established labels (Renegade Hardware, Barcode, Subtitles), a named EP (Conquerors and Commoners) and an album (Caligo), co‑founding Lifted Music with Chris Renegade, and an ongoing international performance schedule under both Spor and Feed Me.

In the United Kingdom, producer Memtrix, whose real name is Oscar Rawlinson, makes drum and bass and says he came to the genre by chance. Rawlinson also sings, plays guitar and other instruments, and has explored incorporating live performance into his music. Memtrix’s first recorded event was in 2012, and London is the region where he has played most often; Cable London is his most-played club there. That year, he released the single YSRD004 on Yellow Stripe Recordings.

In 2015, Memtrix collaborated with Spor on the single Darkest Hours / Super Trace, released through Sotto Voce and Lifted Music. He also worked with Koven on Pessimist, which appeared on Viper Recordings’ Decade Of Viper compilation. His EP Towers came out on Spor’s Sotto Voce label. Memtrix released the Viper Recordings singles Of the Ice / Blood Run and Dare Me / Oxidate. His Voodoo EP combined energetic drum and bass with guitar and vocals, reflecting his wider musical influences.

In 2017, Memtrix released the single Teeth and Turn / Concrete on Memtrix Music, followed by Sunkenspace on Sotto Voce. In 2018, he released Out of Place, a collaboration with Joe Ford, through Shogun Audio, and put out the single Blind in Light on Monstercat.
