The Good Times Co. was founded by Blaise Janichon in 2019 and is based in Utrecht, Netherlands, where it operates as a management, booking, record-label and event-concept agency. After the COVID-19 pandemic slowed its booking work, the company developed its record label, an independent, artist-centric operation focused on bringing African talent to audiences in Europe and worldwide. Its first label-pressed record was Yndian Mynah’s The Boys Scribbled Like Mad; other releases include that artist’s Follow The Dots and Morena Leraba’s Fela Sa Ha Mojela (Deluxe Edition).
In 2021, The Good Times Co. released General Levy’s single Gal U2 Rude and a remix credited to General Levy and okayshades. Its releases also include work by Holograph and Elle E. During 2023, the label worked with 15 artists, handling release schedules, distribution and promotion.
