Tigersushi Records is an independent electronic label based in Paris, France. Joakim Bouaziz and Charles Hagelsteen established it after meeting at university and beginning to work together. Its debut, “Cluster vs John Tejada,” was issued in April 2002. That year, Hagelsteen said its releases were not confined to a particular genre, spanning house, techno, electro, breakbeat and jungle. Joakim characterized the label’s musical references as post-punk, IDM, avant-garde and leftfield dance music.
The early “More G.D.M.” series placed reissued older recordings alongside new music by artists including Cluster, John Tejada, Gina X and Metro Area. Tigersushi released OFF DAY’s “DAY ONE,” a project mixing drum and bass with Jersey club, hip-hop and techno, followed by “DAY TWO,” tagged as drum and bass. In 2025, the label issued OFF DAY and Outrage’s Golden Hour remix of “DAY ONE”; in 2026, Digital and OFF DAY appeared on “DAY TWO (Digital Remix).” The label also launched Kill-The-DJ, with Ivan Smagghe and Fanny Corral handling A&R.
