Drum & bass artist ALB founded Trident Records as an independent label to issue his own music. Its output centres on liquid drum & bass, and ALB wanted the label associated with the genre. He chose its name as a nod to Poseidon, the sea god in Greek mythology. It has served as a home for music by ALB and LOATIAL.
The label’s debut was Finding Reason, credited to ALB and LOATIAL. In 2026, Trident Records released that single and Revelations & Incantations EP, also by the pair.
