Wayside Recordings is a San Francisco drum and bass label, running since 2015. Its releases span drum and bass styles such as liquid funk, neurofunk, jungle, and jump up. Some carry a hybrid drum-and-bass approach, including music by TORS, a collaboration between Ed Martin and Toby Godden. The label’s releases include work by Dunk, MSDOS, Astro-D, 4CR, and Psychoz.
Dunk’s “Heartbeat” was issued by Wayside Recordings in 2022. In 2019, the label put out Psychoz’s 10-track retrospective album, The Drum & Bass Vault, Vol. 1. 4CR’s “They’re Not Ready” followed on February 6, 2023, and TORS’s “Hex” came out on March 24 that year. Astro-D and MSDOS released “Bass In Your Face” through the label in 2025.
