?☀️ It feels as though there was no summer. Though I’m glad we managed to get away to the Dominican Republic for a while: temperatures close to forty degrees, scorching sun, sand soft as flour, a light breeze from the ocean, the rustle of palms, coconuts threatening to fall on your head, ripe mango flying from the bartender’s hands into a shaker. And most importantly—the locals, always singing and dancing to music that charges everything around them with energy.
I want to capture this mood and bid farewell to summer with a warm, sunny mix of old-school tracks from the 2000s, blending melodies of samba, liquid and intelligent.
