Manchester producer and Soul:r label owner Marcus Intalex died on 28 May. His label’s Soul:ution party at The Pickle Factory in London was cancelled. The musician died of a heart attack.
The musician’s real name was Marcus Kaye. drum and bass fans knew Marcus Intalex through releases on his own Soul:r, as well as on Ingredients, Metalheadz, Exit Records and many others. In addition, under the alias Trevino, Marcus released his techno work.
An entire era is associated with the name Marcus Intalex and his Soul:r label, and his music will remain in our hearts forever!
