AbsentAntiks

AbsentAntiks is a Manchester promoter set up by Abo Forse in 2022 to address the gender imbalance in drum and bass. Its events centre on drum and bass, sometimes with garage, and support female DJs, MCs, producers and other creative workers.

It has run nights at Soup, Kable Club, Stage and Radio, XLR, YES, Deaf Institute and The Eagle Inn, with line-ups featuring LUMIINA, GEOMETRIKK, Diagnostix and Jade Louise. In 2025 AbsentAntiks hosted a stage takeover at Westival Festival.
