Absys Records

Absys Records is a Dublin label and promoter founded in 2008 by Pawel Sho and Domel, first under the name Abysysyndrome. It focuses on deep, forward-looking drum and bass and wider electronic music. The first release was a CD compilation with artists from across Europe and the United States, free digital releases followed, and the first 12-inch EP arrived in 2010. Bungle, Nuage and ASC are among the artists it has released.

The parties started in Poland before moving to Ireland, and by 2011 the crew was throwing label launches in Dublin, including one for its fifth CD, a collaboration between Getz and Nuage. The Racket Space has become a regular home, with SHO, Steak and Executive Steve playing alongside guests such as Zero T and Keeno.

In 2018 Pawel turned the Dublin headquarters into a record shop and recording studio. The 15th anniversary took over Wigwam in January 2024 with separate techno and drum and bass stages, and a 16th-birthday party at The Racket Space followed that November.
