Ampere Antwerp

Ampere Antwerp is a club and events space in Antwerp, Belgium, beneath the railway tracks near Central Station. It opened in 2015 at Simonsstraat 21, with a launch event featuring Laurent Garnier and Ampere residents. The opening programme included house and techno bookings such as Marcel Dettmann, Nina Kraviz, Josh Wink and Mathias Kaden. Its launch also included measures covering water, energy, waste and materials, among them a system that reused heat from events to warm the building.

Ampere’s programming spans electronic music, including house, techno and minimal, with international and local artists. Events have featured LTJ Bukem, Goldie, Bredren and Scepticz. The venue marked its tenth anniversary in April 2025 with events including performances by Richie Hawtin and LTJ Bukem. Ampere announced its return in 2025 after a year of reflection and recalibration. Other events have featured Joris Voorn and Anfisa Letyago.
