BASS BARN COLLECTIVE YVR

BASS BARN COLLECTIVE YVR is based in Vancouver, Canada, where it promotes bass-music events for queer and femme ravers, artists and allies. Its events feature local femme and queer artists, and harassment and discrimination are not tolerated. Its goal is to bring a festival-style atmosphere to Vancouver’s queer rave community.

The music policy covers dubstep, UK garage, drum & bass and jungle. Event performers have included Emnesia, INDUSTRIALGRADECHILLER, microtear, soratora and SISI. Flora Soundsystem has provided sound for one of the collective’s events. Its February 2026 launch party sold out, and a May 2026 event marked Bass Barn 2 as a return after that launch.
