Beats x Bass x Cologne

Beats x Bass x Cologne began in 2013 and runs a weekly Wednesday event in Cologne under the name #MittWochenende. The series takes place at Odonien, where events have used both indoor and open-air spaces; the promoter has also held events at Garagen and Luxor. Weekend special events form part of its programme. Its music ranges from techno and drum & bass to dubstep and house, with “Beats” referring to techno and “Bass” to drum & bass.

Enaly, Gourski, Jon Void and ADEMES have appeared at the promoter’s events. The promoter marked its ninth anniversary in 2022 with an event spread across five floors at Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld, Yuca Club and Helios 37, all in Cologne. At Odonien, the Wednesday series has presented techno and drum & bass alongside other styles; in 2019, events there used indoor and open-air areas.
