BIG Z

Based in Vienna, BIG Z has organised events at Loop, Kulturverein Einbaumöbel - 1bm, Himmel und Wasser, and Club Lucia. Its Bassic Instinct parties focus on drum & bass and jungle, with line-ups featuring Franjazzco, GEN-Z, DJ Keshi and Paul SG. One Bassic Instinct night opened with bass, breaks and garage before shifting to jungle and old-school drum & bass.

For Bassic Instinct’s first anniversary in April 2025, BIG Z held an event at Kulturverein Einbaumöbel – 1BM. A collaboration with Mundakrobaten incorporated beatbox performances ahead of jungle and drum & bass sets. BIG Z also ran Casa del Groove, a Vienna event series centred on house and tech house. In 2026, the Bassic Instinct crew comprised BIG Z, Franjazzco and Mäx Dog, and played old-school drum & bass on vinyl.
