BIO-TECH

BIO-TECH is a London event series presented jointly by Tech Itch Recordings and Biotic Records. Launched to mark 20 years of millennium-era techstep, its first London event was planned for April 2020 but postponed during the COVID-19 shutdowns. The series returned as LDN 001 in January 2023, with techstep and live instrumentation. BIO-TECH is based in London, United Kingdom.

BIO-TECH has held events at Loki and Club Cheek in London. Its music centres on techstep drum and bass, with live instrumentation over DJ sets and visual projections; Facs and Xanadu curate the instrumentation, projections and effects. Artists on its line-ups have included Mando, Deselecta, Primitivizm and Scythe. The seventh event featured Mando of Dom & Roland Productions and Bristol artist Deselecta; the eighth instalment took place in 2025.
