Breakin Science

Based in London, Breakin Science promotes underground drum and bass events. In 2022, it celebrated two decades with a London gathering at Printworks that lasted 11 hours. By 2010, it was holding an annual Valentine’s event in London, with distinct rooms for new drum and bass, emerging artists and other genres.

Its events have taken place at E1, UNLOCKED, Electric Brixton and The Steel Yard. Other venues have included KOKO, Brixton Academy, Canvas and Building Six. The music has spanned drum and bass and jungle across multiple arenas. Line-ups have featured Eksman, IC3, Logan D, b-line and Grima & Azza. At a 2018 two-arena event at Building Six in The O2, Greenwich, Turno and Dreps hosted a Team Drumz takeover. In 2017, Breakin Science shared the promotion of MC Eksman’s birthday event at Building Six with Overload.
