Broadwick Live

Broadwick Live is a London events company founded in 2012 by Gareth Cooper and Jon Drape with Alexander Bennett and Bradley Thompson. Its events have been held at DRUMSHEDS, Silverworks Island, Magazine London and The Cause, as well as fabric and Village Underground. Broadwick Live took over Printworks in 2016 and opened the former printing works for electronic music events that November. The venue presented club nights and live music across spaces such as the Control Room, Press Halls and Dark Room. Printworks shut on 1 May 2023, following six years of operation.

Broadwick Live’s programme has included electronic and live music, with performers such as Ben Hemsley, Eats Everything, Emerald and Mau P. The company also co-promoted The Hydra in London, including an Autechre performance at Magazine London. Working with Venue Lab, it opened Magazine London in 2019, with an indoor space for 3,000 people and an outdoor showground accommodating 7,000. Its 2018 festival portfolio included Hideout, Field Day, Y Not and Truck. The first DRUMSHEDS opened in summer 2019 and ceased operating in January 2022.
