22:00 – 03:00
Cat In The Bag Records is a jungle label and event promoter operating from Nijmegen in the Netherlands. Sammie van Cleef started the label in 2018 under the name Tommy The Cat, who leads the project. Before that, Tommy The Cat DJed and organised parties in the Dutch free-party scene from the mid-1990s, taking a sound system to warehouse events and parties in former military spaces. The label began with vinyl releases and also distributes music digitally.
Its events have taken place at NYMA in Nijmegen and OT301 in Amsterdam, as well as at venues elsewhere in Europe. Booked artists have included Tommy The Cat, Ricky Force, MAC-V and FFF (NL). Cat In The Bag runs the Cat In The Bag Jungle Sessions, while Park Sessions and Oldschool Shoes are associated labels. Their music spans atmospheric jungle, drum and bass, trip-hop, hardcore jungle, UK hardcore and rave.
