club JB'S

club JB’S opened in 1996 in the basement of the Marumikankou Building at 4-3-15 Sakae, Naka-ku, Nagoya, and runs events at its own venue. With installed DJ equipment and a stage for live acts, it programmes dance music, hip-hop, house and anime songs. In 2010 DJ Mag put its capacity at 300 and singled out its sound system.

Touring guests have included Laurent Garnier, Carl Craig and THA BLUE HERB, while local line-ups have featured Maozon, SE-TA, ChottoKimoi and ITSUKI. Timmy Regisford played the house night “Nagoya Timmy” there every 30 December for 14 consecutive years by 2017, and the club hosted his 20th Nagoya date in 2026. On the drum and bass side, the event 低音研究会 (Teion Kenkyūkai) moved to club JB’S from domina.
