CreamEventsNZ

CreamEventsNZ is based in Christchurch, where Cream Events began in 2017, founded by two friends seeking to broaden the city’s music scene. The company has staged club nights, festivals and outdoor events around New Zealand, in bespoke venues and at day parties. Its events have been held at Catacombs Nightclub in the South Island, Studio the Venue in Auckland and Addington Raceway in Christchurch. Cream Events has produced Lakes Festival and Whiteout Festival. Its Christchurch programme has featured drum and bass and jungle, with artists including Dillinja, Goldie, Grooverider, Andy C, Serum and ROVA. In 2024, Cream Events Limited applied for a special licence for Hidden Lakes Festival at North Hagley Park, estimating attendance at about 5,000; a separate application for a Christchurch event featuring Andy C and Serum estimated about 2,500. In 2025, Cream Events presented a 20 Years of Shogun Audio event at Hide Club in Christchurch.
