Crucast

Crucast is a London promoter and dance music brand founded by Joe Perry, known as Lazcru, who had earlier run Switch events in Oxford. It began as a YouTube channel for bassline DJ mixes in summer 2016, then became a label and started putting on events in late 2017, with its first party at XOYO in Oxford that November. Its music draws on UK bass, including bassline, drum and bass, jungle and garage, and Skepsis, Bru-C, Darkzy and Kanine have been among its acts.

Crucast has hosted stages at festivals such as Glastonbury and Boomtown and sold out shows at Amnesia in Ibiza. In November 2019 it staged its first standalone party at Printworks London, and its club nights have reached Amsterdam, Leeds, Sheffield and the Midlands. A February 2023 XOYO residency took over both the Basement and the Green Room.
