Darkshire

Darkshire is a Prague-based experimental drum and bass project whose roots reach back to 2016. The project developed amid student-led underground raves in Prague between 2010 and 2015, alongside influences from Berlin rave culture and theatrical performance. Its first gathering took place in a warehouse, drawing a crowd of about 800.

Instead of regular club nights, Darkshire has staged events in unusual settings, among them disused factories, a former slaughterhouse, forests, caves, a monastery and a church. Its venues include Gabriel Loci in Prague, Refinery Gallery in Bratislava, Nová Zbrojovka in Brno and Pekelné Doly in Cvikov.
