Digital Motion BC is a Vancouver-based event promoter operating in British Columbia, active in the city’s electronic music scene since autumn 2010. Its events cover electronic music, drum and bass, dubstep and trap, with the Red Room among its Vancouver venues. Past bookings have included drum-and-bass artists Andy C and Goldie, as well as Camo and Krooked. Rusko and Mala have also performed at its events.
Its weekly SUBculture Saturdays night brings local and international bass-music artists to the Red Room, using the venue’s PK Sound system. Other event brands include the Ocean Commotion boat cruises, SUBculture Halloween, SUBculture NYE and SUBculture Sessions. In 2019, Digital Motion established SAFEculture, an initiative involving peer support and consent-culture work at its events. The promoter marked its 15th anniversary in 2025 with an event headlined by Distinct Motive.
