DJ Dials is the San Francisco/Oakland event promoter and stage name of DJ and producer Noah Bennett, who moved to San Francisco in 2001 to attend art school. He began DJing at 12 and became a full-time DJ around 2010. After managing music acts whose clients struggled to find gigs, Bennett started organising shows, establishing the event company DJ Dials Presents.
Bennett has worked as a head booker at 1015 Folsom, and DJ Dials events have also taken place at Gray Area. DJ Dials Presents has booked touring DJs in San Francisco, including James Murphy, Grimes, Kali Uchis and Moodymann. His DJ sets are open-format, with no genre excluded, and his event work spans club nights, festivals, corporate events and warehouse gatherings.
In July 2023, Bennett organised Rattleship, an electronic music event with Brownies and Lemonade aboard the USS Hornet in Alameda. During the pandemic, he also put on socially distanced car concerts under the name Hotbox.
