Driven AM

Driven AM began in New York City in 2006, when Dave Shichman launched it as a drum-and-bass promotion and artist-management company. Its work includes artist management, booking, a drum-and-bass record label, and event coordination in New York City and beyond. Shichman owns the company, coordinates its events, and performs as its resident DJ; co-owner Mixmaster Doc is a mastering engineer. The organization has promoted drum-and-bass events beyond New York as well as within the city.

Driven AM has held events at New York venues including The Woodshop and The Meadows, and has also used Hello Meadow and The Sultan Room. A fifth-anniversary event took place at Public Assembly in Brooklyn in 2011, with Random Movement, Sinistarr, and Dave Owen on the bill. An event marking 18 years of Driven AM was held at The Wood Shop in Brooklyn, featuring Nvrsoft, Bell Curve, and JEN SYMMETRY. The promoter has also presented events at Sunnyvale and Club Midway.
