Driven AM Recordings is a New York City drum and bass label and event promoter, with a booking agency operating alongside its events. Dave Shichman launched the operation in 2006 as an artist-management and promotion company; he is its owner, event coordinator and resident DJ. Co-owner Mixmaster Doc works as its mastering engineer, while DJ Strife and Agent 137 are among its resident DJs and event coordinators. The company also handles artist management and apparel.
Its parties have taken place at The Woodshop, The Meadows, Hello Meadow and The Sultan Room in New York City, as well as Sunnyvale in Brooklyn, where it held monthly events in 2018. Driven AM began monthly New York drum and bass events in June 2007, featuring artists from its management roster, and has coordinated events in Philadelphia as well as New York. Artists booked have included Dieselboy, alongside residents Dave Shichman and Mixmaster Doc. In August 2024, Driven AM marked 18 years of promoting North American bass-music events in New York City.
