Drum and Bass India

Drum and Bass India is a Bangalore-based promoter presenting drum-and-bass events. Founded by Debjyoti Das and Ritu Arya, it started out as a blog in 2013 before expanding into gigs, news, reviews and music premieres. Its work includes online premieres, reviews, artwork and promotion, alongside event line-up curation, artist management and promotional partnerships.

Events have taken place at Indiranagar Social and The Humming Tree in Bangalore, Khar Social in Mumbai, and Budxloft and Felix Goa in Goa. Past line-ups have featured The Untitled One, HIGH REZ, Master Shifu and Rasa (IN). The promoter runs the #BangaloreMassive party series and launched Bass Baithak with Kitty Ko in 2023. In December that year, it partnered with Forms of People Music Festival on a Bangalore stage featuring drum and bass and breaks. A March 2026 event marked the project’s 13th anniversary and the fourth anniversary of #BangaloreMassive.
