Drum & Bass Origins

Drum & Bass Origins is a drum-and-bass community and event promoter based in Bucharest, Romania. It began as an event concept intended to address a perceived lack of drum-and-bass events in the city and support the local scene. It started in late 2017. Its “Back to Origins” concept was intended to encourage audiences to discover the project, while its aims also included developing Bucharest’s drum-and-bass scene. It also set out to bring visual and artistic elements to its parties.

Events have been held at Club Subteran, Fabrica and Club Guesthouse in Bucharest. Artists appearing at its events have included Nastia. Fabrica hosted the promoter’s first-anniversary event on 23 November 2018, with Serum, Commix and Mark System on the bill and MC AD as host.
