Electric Circus

Electric Circus is a nightclub and event promoter based in Adelaide, Australia, operating from 17–19 Crippen Place in the CBD, off Morphett and Hindley Streets. Established in 2003, it grew from a record shop opened by Paul Glen after he moved to Australia in 2000; Glen and James Hiller were co-owners of the venue in 2009. Glen’s shop business developed into promoting Adelaide club nights.

The club has staged events at its Crippen Place venue, which was downstairs in the same building as Rocket Bar, with Limbo between the two venues. In 2009, it operated as a boutique nightclub. Its programming has included house music, featuring local DJs and selectors. Artists booked at Electric Circus events include Mandidextrous, xela rae, Yung Singh and Anaïs. In 2009, its weekly programme included OneLove on Fridays and a Saturday DJ night. In 2026, the promoter renewed its Saturday focus on underground house, with longer sets and two or three DJs per night, mixing established Australian artists with emerging local talent.
