Electric Studios Sheffield

Electric Studios Sheffield is an event promoter based in Sheffield, operating at Electric Studios on Leadmill Road. Electric Group owns and runs the venue, at the former Leadmill site, and became freeholder of the building in 2017. Electric Group co-founder Dominic Madden announced a £2 million redevelopment, and the venue opened on 13 March 2026. Mike Weller, Electric Group’s head of music, oversees its bookings.

The programme covers live music and club events, with a focus on electronic music and drum and bass. Artists booked by Electric Studios Sheffield have included Camo & Krooked, Culture Shock, Harriet Jaxxon and Wilkinson. The venue has a d&b audiotechnik PA, upgraded lighting and production facilities, plus a rehearsal room, communal area and kitchen for local musicians, DJs and artists. Its events are developed with promoters, labels and brands, alongside cultural events and live performances.
