elipamanoke

elipamanoke is a club and event promoter operating in Leipzig, Germany. Andy Rimkute founded it in 2007 as a micro-club on Zschochersche Straße, initially looking for space to rehearse and make music. Early events included birthday parties before the programme shifted towards cultural events. In March 2012, the club moved to larger premises at Markranstädter Straße 4 in western Leipzig. Rimkute also DJed as Mentell and was active with the Dreikommanull crew.

The venue has a main room, the eli-Floor, and the basement space xxS Kronik. Its programme covers electronic underground music, including techno, house and related subgenres, and elipamanoke runs its own events while hosting nights organised by collectives. Early series Mottschnitt was organised with Leipzig internet radio Mott.fm. Event line-ups have included Cuepric, Snarecrow, Relict and Blooom. At the club’s tenth anniversary in 2017, Rimkute was its operator and Sebastian Vogt supported booking and design. In September 2024, the main-floor DJ booth was adapted so it could be positioned centrally, allowing two DJs to play facing each other.
