ELLEN Recordings

ELLEN Recordings promotes events and operates an audio studio in Bucharest, Romania. Ellen encountered drum and bass through the city’s music scene in 2012, then took over DrumAndBass.ro in 2015 and developed its forum into a local promotion platform. After making her DJ debut in 2021, Ellen founded ELLEN Recordings in 2022 as a platform for artists and electronic music releases. Events have been held at Club Guesthouse, with line-ups featuring artists such as Doc Scott, Paradox, Nastia and Sabrina.

In summer 2022, Ellen and Joule began Odyssey Sessions, presenting deep drum and bass, jungle and breaks. ELLEN Recordings runs practical DJ workshops, including individual sessions, and produces audio for advertisements, from voice-over and sound design to mixing and mastering. Its work also encompasses sound concepts for events and commercial spaces. The studio was developed in collaboration with the architecture firm 2CBA Arhitectura.
