EXIT GLASGOW

EXIT GLASGOW began in September 2023, founded by musicians and DJs Miko Szatko, also known as TRSSX, and James Johnson, who performs as JayJay. The Glasgow promoter stages events at a DIY club and artist space in the city centre, at 96 Maxwell Street. The venue occupies the basement of a B-listed building that previously housed nightclub Fury Murrys. It opened as an artist-run project in 2023 and has room for 400 people.

EXIT offers workshops, art exhibitions and screenings alongside club nights. Its recurring EXIT CLUB events centre on techno and industrial music, with other events covering jungle, drum and bass and breakbeat hardcore. Resident DJs include TRSSX, JayJay, Brandon Lee Vear and Alliyah Enyo. In March 2025, redevelopment proposals for the Maxwell Street site raised the possibility of the venue closing.
