Flexout

Flexout is a drum and bass promoter and label operating in London, with club-night origins at the University of Lincoln. Tom Bassi began the nights with a loan from the university; he and Kronic later established the label in memory of Bassi’s friend John, known as DJ Apocalypse. Flexout Audio was founded in 2011, and Marcel Bößendörfer became co-owner in 2023.

Flexout has held events at The Cause in London and Moon Club in Bristol, and Flexout Audio presented a London launch party for Xanadu’s debut album at Plan B in 2015. The music policy covers deep, minimal and tech-focused drum and bass; artists booked include Amoss, Arkaik, Charli Brix and QZB. Flexout launched the Onyx series as a platform for new talent. Flexout Audio has collaborated with Sofa Sound, and its tenth-anniversary party took place at Steel Yard in 2021. The promoter made its London debut at The Cause on 4 May 2024.
